Samsung has finally released the One UI 8 Beta 6 Update for the Galaxy S25 Series. Users in eligible countries may now install the One UI 8 Beta if they want.
Countries in which One UI 8 Beta is Live & Build info
One UI 8 Beta 6 for Galaxy S25 Series is live in Korea, Germany & UK. Galaxy S25 Series in India have also recieved the same beta update, however, for India, it is termed as One UI 8 Beta 5. The One UI 8 Beta Update carries a build of S938BXXU5ZYHB/S938BOXM5ZYHB/S938BXXU5BYHB for India.
One UI 8 vs One UI 7
One UI 8 is not a major a major change as compared to One UI 7. One UI 7 was a more drastic change. For most devices, One UI 8 can be considered as a smooth and stable One UI 7 Update.
One UI 8 Release Date & Beta Eligible Devices
One UI 8 brings some refinements in software like smoother app animations and improved blur in various elements of One UI. One UI 8 Stable is expected to launch in the month of September, 2025 as confirmed by Samsung earlier. As of now, some additional devices, some more devices, other than the Galaxy S25 Series, are eligible for the One UI 8 Program.
One UI 8 Beta is already live for Galaxy S24 Series & Galaxy Z Fold/Flip6. One UI 8 Beta 2 for Galaxy S24 Series is anticipated to launch by the end of this week. Few Galaxy A Series devices are also eligible for the One UI 8 Beta Program, namely the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A36.
Older Foldables like Galaxy Z Fold/Flip5 are eligible for the beta Program. Consequently, the Galaxy S23 Series will also get the benefit of trying out the One UI 8 Beta.
Kindly note that Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A36, Galaxy Z Flip5 & Galaxy Z Fold5 will get the One UI 8 Beta Update in September, 2025.
One UI 8 Beta Builds for all One UI 8 Beta Eligible devices has been spotted on test server earlier. Also, a One UI 8 Beta Forum for Galaxy A36 has also been created on Samsung Community in India.
Galaxy A56 is however, not eligible for the One UI 8 Beta even though older A-Series devices like Galaxy A54 are. A major reason for this can be its late launch in the US.
To sum it up, these devices are eligible for One UI 8 Beta in certain regions.
