The Google Pixel 9a is ready to shake up the mid-range smartphone world after the Pixel 9 series launched in August 2024. Rumors say pre-orders start on March 19, 2025, and it’ll be in stores by March 26, 2025. Here’s a quick look at its leaked features as of March 15, 2025.

The Pixel 9a has a slim 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm body with flat metal edges and an IP68 rating, meaning it’s dust- and water-resistant. Its 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED screen offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a super-bright 2,700 nits, perfect for clear, colorful visuals. The only downside here is the bezels which are quite thick for its price.
Strong Performance
The Pixel 9a runs on the Google Tensor G4 chip with a Titan M2 security boost. It has 8GB of RAM and storage choices of 128GB or 256GB (UFS 3.1). This setup handles daily tasks and multitasking with ease.
Solid Camera
It features a 48MP main camera with stabilization (OIS) and a 13MP ultrawide lens on the back, plus a 13MP selfie camera. Google’s AI tricks will make your photos pop, especially in dim light, even with fewer megapixels than before.
