Samsung has begun the One UI 8 testing for the Galaxy M55. The device was recently spotted on test server in Europe with One UI 8, carrying the September, 2025 Security Patch. It has the build of M556EXXU4CYI1.
Earlier, One UI 8 builds for almost all eligible Galaxy devices were spotted on test servers, with only a few left out. The Galaxy M55 was one of them – and now, its build has finally been spotted as well.
One UI 8 Beta Program Expands
The One UI 8 Beta Program has officially gone live this week for more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy A55, A35, A54 & A36. The Beta is also available for the Galaxy S23 Series and Galaxy Z Fold/Flip5. Users in Eligible regions may install the One UI 8 Beta on their devices if they wish to.

There is also a high possibility of One UI 8 Beta 2 for Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy A55 & Galaxy A54, since a new One UI 8 Beta build for them was recently spotted on the test server.
Stable Rollout Timeline
The Stable Rollout of One UI 8 is expected to begin this month, starting with the Galaxy S25 Series, followed by other flagship and mid-range models in the coming weeks. Also, Galaxy S25 Series will mostly recieve the One UI 8 Beta 7 Update before the final release of One UI 8.
