Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G (₹38,999) and Galaxy M56 5G (₹27,999) are awesome mid-range phones. Each has cool features for different needs. Here’s a quick, easy guide to pick the right one.
Design and Screen:
The A56 5G has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen (120Hz, sharp FHD+). It’s tough with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and IP67 for water/dust protection. The M56 5G rocks a bigger 6.74-inch Super AMOLED+ screen (120Hz, FHD+) with slim edges. It’s also got Gorilla Glass Victus+ and is super thin, but no IP rating.

Power
The A56 5G uses a fast Exynos 1580 chip with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage (expandable to 1TB). It’s great for gaming and multitasking. The M56 5G has a slightly slower Exynos 1480 chip, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage (also expandable). It’s solid for daily use.
Camera
Both phones have the same cameras: a 50MP main (with stabilization), 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 12MP front camera. They take bright, clear photos with fun AI tricks.

Battery and Software
Both have a 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging. They run Android 15 with One UI 7. The A56 gets six years of updates; the M56 should get plenty too. Both have Circle to Search.
Verdict
Get the A56 5G for power, toughness, and long updates. Choose the M56 5G for a big screen and lower price. Both are great Samsung phones!
